Der „Sociolinguistics Circle“ organisiert am 28.03.2014 an der Rijksuniversiteit Groningen eine eintägige Konferenz zur Soziolinguistik mit Bezug zu den Benelux-Ländern. Zitat aus der Kurzbeschreibung zur Konferenz:
„The aim of the conference is to bring together students and researchers of language variation, sociolinguistics and social dynamics of language with a connection to the Low Countries. Particular emphasis is put on student participation: the conference is open to researchers of all levels and there will be no registration fee.“
Abstracts in englischer oder niederländischer Sprache können noch bis zum 11.02.2014 eingereicht werden.
