Am 28. März 2014 findet in Groningen die erste Tagung des Sociolinguistics Circle statt. Zitat aus der Konferenzankündigung:
„The aim of the conference is to bring together students and researchers of language variation, sociolinguistics and social dynamics of language with a connection to the Low Countries. Particular emphasis is put on student participation: the conference is open to researchers of all levels and there is no registration fee (although we do ask for a small contribution from those who wish to have lunch during the poster session).“
